On specific Workspace editions, Google offers an AI video creator. Google Vids uses Google's AI model Gemini to make workplace and marketing movies from Google Drive files and descriptions. You can start a video from scratch or utilise a pre-made template to create a first draft. There's even a "Help me create" option where Gemini will propose scripts to help you started on your video.
You aren't restricted to what's in the templates. Google Vids lets you utilise your own images and movies. It also has a virtual recording studio where you may add your own photos and movies, record videos of yourself, or simply create audio tracks of your voice to go with your video.
In April, Google introduced a new AI video-making function based on the Gemini AI model. Google Vids does not generate videos from scratch, unlike Runway's Gen-2 or OpenAI's Sora, who developed a terrifying Toys 'R Us origin narrative movie. Google Vids generates a slideshow of sorts from various types of media and compiles it based on the content of the source documents or the suggestion you enter. Because Google Vids is part of Google Workspace, you can work on a video project in real time with other team members.
Google Vids is available to Business Standard, Business Plus, Enterprise Standard, Enterprise Plus, Essentials, Enterprise Essentials, and Enterprise Essentials Plus subscribers.
