Activision has released the first multiplayer gameplay trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, with the Early Access multiplayer beta set to begin soon.
As one might anticipate, the trailer is jam-packed with gunfire, rockets, explosions, and more. The trailer concludes with a "one-take" scenario in which the camera sweeps across one of the areas, revealing a large number of players engaged in various sorts of battle.
Activision plans to add 16 new maps to Black Ops 6's multiplayer mode. The trailer also showcases the game's Omnimovement feature, which is designed to allow players to mix and link various movement types such as sliding, diving, and more.
The trailer also reveals that the game will include the Gunsmith feature, which will allow for a wide range of customisable weaponry. The game will have the Prestige mode, a feature from previous Call of Duty games, for players who reach level 55 and wish to restart at the Prestige level.
Activision will disclose more about Black Ops 6 during their Call of Duty Next live event on Wednesday, August 28. Then, on August 30, the Early Access multiplayer test will begin for those who have pre-ordered the game or subscribed to Xbox Game Pass. It continues through September 4 and is followed by the Open Beta, which begins on September 6 and runs until September 9.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will be released on October 25 for PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5. As a Day One launch, PC and Xbox players can play the whole game using an Xbox Game Pass or PC Game Pass membership.
