Sony officially revealed the PlayStation 5 Pro system last month, promising upgraded hardware that will provide players with crisper images, consistent frame rates, upgraded ray-tracing, upscaling technology, and other improvements.
With the new console's release date approaching, Sony has now revealed which games will benefit from the horsepower bump when the PS5 Pro becomes available.
Out of the 55 titles, 11 are from Sony's first-party studios, including Spider-Man, The Last of Us, Horizon, and God of War series, as well as standalone games such as Demon's Souls. Free-to-play hits such as Fortnite, Warframe, War Thunder, and Naraka: Bladepoint are also getting updates, giving competitive players a smoother experience than typical on regular consoles.
Other notable titles on the list include Microsoft-published Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Diablo IV, Remedy's Alan Wake 2, Baldur's Gate 3, Hogwarts Legacy, a slew of EA titles, and more.
Sony promises "many more" games will follow this launch lineup of improvements to take use of the Pro's 67% more powerful GPU and 28% quicker memory. According to the business, this will result in up to 45% faster rendering in games.
The PlayStation 5 Pro will be available on November 7 for €799.99.
